In need of doctors

My son who is 4 dx with PDD-NOS is currently seeing a psychiatrist and we are looking for a new one.  Does anyone have any  recommendations?  The one we see for his behavioral issues is not working out and I am desperate for a new one.  Also, we are looking for a psychologist who can work with his behavioral issues and would appreciate any input.

who is your neurodevelopmental pediatrician or nurse practitioner? Also, who is your insurance? We see a psychiatrist and psychologist about once a year at Johns Hopkins (our son is 6, Dx PDD NOS). They make recommendations and our developmental Nurse Practitioner here takes those recommendations and develops a care plan for our son- though admittedly, about 99% of the recommendations they give us she had already recommended before going up there! He's been doing amazing for the past 2 years.

Dr. Rick Ellis who is a member of this group also provides services to childen with PDD- NOS.

If you go to the members list click on his name and you can send him a private email about your needs.

You might to check in with Sandra L. Bisson, Intern: Clinical Psychology:Licensed Professional Counselor Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I know her to be helpful with effective supporting children with behaviors needs.

At Christian Psychotherapy Services I highly recommend Dr. Guanzon. As for Psychologists, there are several including myself. I would be happy to give you details.
